With a curriculum tailored to children aged 4 and above, these one-on-one sessions help build water confidence and improve swimming techniques more effectively under the guidance of experienced instructors. Private lessons also allow for customised pacing, catering to each child’s unique needs and abilities.

Each of our classes is structured to ensure a positive and enriching experience that supports physical development and safety in the water. Our Champs of Joy campaign reflects our belief that every child deserves to feel proud, confident, and happy in their swimming journey.

1. Small Class Sizes: To maintain quality and ensure every child receives adequate attention, each class size is carefully maintained between 8 to 10 students per coach, depending on the child’s stage. Smaller class sizes mean the coach can cater to each child’s unique learning pace, allowing for steady progression in skills and confidence.

2. Qualified Coaches: Our coaches are certified and experienced in teaching swimming lessons for children. They understand the challenges young swimmers face and use positive reinforcement techniques to motivate and encourage each child. Our coaches have attended:

    • (i) either the “National Standards for Youth Sports (NSYS) for
      Coaching in Singapore Schools Workshop” jointly conducted by the Ministry of Education or Sport Singapore (SportSG);
    • (ii) or the “Values and Principles in Sports” (VPS) workshop conducted by Sport Singapore (SportSG) & have a valid first aid certification.

3. Convenient Locations: With classes held at popular ActiveSG Swimming Pools across Sengkang, Canberra, Delta, and Clementi, families in dfferent parts of Singapore can easily find a nearby location that suits them.

4. Flexible Options: In addition to group classes, we also offer private swimming classes for children in Singapore. This is ideal for children who may benefit from personalised attention or have specific needs.

5. Focus on Safety: Safety is our top priority. Every child learns water safety rules from the very beginning. Instructors ensure that the learning environment remains secure and that every child is comfortable, especially in the early stages.
